JIRA

Jira is available through the Composio app library, not as a first-class TeamMate channel. You connect a Jira account once, then add Jira tools to an agent so it can work with projects and issues.

Prerequisites

  • A Jira account with access to the projects you want the agent to use.
  • A saved agent to attach the Jira tools to.

How to connect

  1. Open the Composio app library
In the agent builder’s Integrations tab, browse the Composio app library and search for Jira.
  2. Connect a Jira account
Start the connection and authorize TeamMate to access Jira. This creates a reusable Composio profile.
  3. Select Jira tools
Choose which Jira actions the agent may use (for example, creating, searching, or updating issues).
  4. Save the agent
The selected tools become available to the agent.

The Jira connection (a Composio profile) is reusable — once connected, other agents can use the same profile without reauthorizing.

What the agent can do

The exact actions depend on the Jira tools you select from the library, which typically include creating, searching, and updating issues.

Managing the connection

  • Review and reuse the connection from Settings → Connected Apps.
  • See Managing connections to remove it.
