Builder layout & workspace
The agent builder is the edit workspace for a single agent. It is organized as tabs so admins can configure identity, model behavior, responses, tools, knowledge, interfaces, integrations, triggers, channels, and embeds without leaving the agent.
Main layout
| Area | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Header | Shows the agent being edited and exposes save, publish, or navigation actions when available. |
| Tab navigation | Moves between Profile, AI Model, Response, Capabilities, Skills, Knowledge, Interfaces, Integrations, Triggers, Channels, Web & Embed, and related sections. |
| Form area | Contains the controls for the selected tab. |
| Preview/testing surface | Lets admins try the agent behavior before publishing when available. |
Editing flow
Start with Profile, then configure the AI Model, Response, and the capabilities the agent needs. Add knowledge, skills, integrations, triggers, and channels only when the agent’s job requires them.
Use Testing & iterating before publishing any agent that users or external channels can reach.
