Composio app library

The Composio app library is a catalog of third-party apps (toolkits) you can connect to give agents real actions — read a Gmail thread, create a GitHub issue, update a Trello card, manage Jira issues, and many more. Each app provides a set of tools (individual actions) that an agent can call.

How it fits together

ConceptWhat it is
ToolkitAn app in the library (e.g. Gmail, GitHub, Trello, Jira).
ToolA single action within a toolkit (e.g. “create card”, “search issues”).
ProfileA saved, reusable connection to a toolkit for your workspace. One profile can power many agents.
Connected accountThe authorized account behind a profile.

Connecting an app

  1. Browse or search the library
In the agent builder’s Integrations tab, open the Composio app library and find the app you want.
  2. Connect an account
Authorize TeamMate to access the app. For OAuth apps you complete the provider’s consent screen; for API-key apps you paste a key. This creates a reusable profile.
  3. Select tools
Choose which of the app’s tools the agent may use.
  4. Save the agent
The selected tools become available to the agent.

Reusing connections

Profiles are workspace-scoped and reusable: connect an app once, then attach it to other agents without reauthorizing. Review profiles and their connections in Settings → Connected Apps.

Apps that are Composio-only

Some apps are available only through Composio, not as first-class TeamMate channels — including Trello and Jira. To use them, connect through this library and add their tools to an agent.
