Welcome & first impression
The First Impression section controls the first text and starter prompts users see when they begin a new conversation with the agent.
What you can do here
- Write the Welcome Message.
- Add one or more Conversation Starters.
- Edit starter prompt text.
- Remove starter prompts.
How to configure the first impression
- Open the agent in the builder.
- Go to Profile.
- Scroll to First Impression.
- Write a welcome message.
- Click Add Starter for each suggested prompt you want users to see.
- Save the agent.
Fields

Writing tips
Keep welcome messages short. Starter prompts should describe real tasks users can ask the agent to perform.
