Welcome & first impression

The First Impression section controls the first text and starter prompts users see when they begin a new conversation with the agent.

What you can do here

  • Write the Welcome Message.
  • Add one or more Conversation Starters.
  • Edit starter prompt text.
  • Remove starter prompts.

How to configure the first impression

  1. Open the agent in the builder.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Scroll to First Impression.
  4. Write a welcome message.
  5. Click Add Starter for each suggested prompt you want users to see.
  6. Save the agent.

Writing tips

Keep welcome messages short. Starter prompts should describe real tasks users can ask the agent to perform.
