Help center Q&A bot on your website
You’ll build a chat bubble for your website that answers customer questions from your help center content and stays inside safe boundaries.

Step 1 — Create the agent
Create an agent in Agents. In System instructions, tell it to answer only from the help center, say when it doesn’t know, and offer to hand off to a human for anything outside scope.
Step 2 — Add your help center content
Create a knowledge base and add your articles by uploading files or pointing at your docs site with web sources. Attach it to the agent.
Step 3 — Set guardrails
In the Capabilities tab, apply guardrails so the public bot avoids off-topic or unsafe responses. Keep it read-only — it should answer, not take actions.
Step 4 — Embed it
Use the Web & Embed tab to copy the Bubble Chat script and paste it into your site. Restrict where it loads with the domain allowlist, and select an API key as prompted.
