Suggested prompts
Suggested prompts are the conversation starters configured in the Profile tab. They help users test and launch the agent with realistic first questions.
What you can do here
- Add starter prompts in the Profile tab.
- Test each prompt in Widget Preview.
- Remove prompts that produce weak or unclear answers.
- Keep prompts aligned with the agent’s description and instructions.
Good starter prompts
| Prompt type | Example use |
|---|---|
| Task request | Ask the agent to perform the main job it was built for. |
| Knowledge request | Ask about a specific attached knowledge base topic. |
| Boundary test | Ask something the agent should refuse, escalate, or clarify. |
| Channel-specific prompt | Test wording that will appear in Slack, WhatsApp, email, or voice. |
